Generate a TNP Report

1 In the menu bar, click References > TNP Report.

Note: The TNP Report menu item appears only if you are allowed to generate this report.

2 To generate a report for a lab other than your current lab, click the appropriate one in the Lab list.

3 In the Client list, click either All Clients (to generate data for all of the clients that you can access for the chosen lab) or a specific client.

4 Click Add To List.

If you clicked All Clients in the Client list, all of the clients that you can access for the chosen lab appear in the Lab/Client List area of the page. If you clicked a specific client, only that client appears.

You can optionally delete any listed client by clicking the Delete link next to that client’s name.

5 If you clicked a specific client in the Client list and would like to include another client’s data in the report, repeat steps 34 until the page displays all of the appropriate clients.

Note: At this point, if you choose a different lab in the Lab list, a warning message appears. If you click OK, the lab changes, and all of the clients that you have chosen no longer appear on the page. If you click Cancel, the currently selected lab and clients remain on the page. You can generate a TNP report for only one lab at a time.

6 Do one of the following:

To view information from a predefined date range, in the Date list, click the appropriate option (Last Month, Last 6 Months, or Last 12 Months).

When you do this, the Begin Date and End Date fields automatically display the appropriate dates. You cannot change these dates unless you subsequently click Select Date Range in the Date list.

To view information from a date range of your choosing, in the Begin Date and End Date boxes, type the date range for which you want to view TNP data, or click the date on the calendar.

The date format is mm/dd/yyyy. The starting date cannot be more than two years in the past, the overall date range cannot be greater than 12 months, and you cannot specify a future date in either field.

Tip: You can use any of the following shortcuts to specify the date:

Type t for today’s date.

Type y for yesterday’s date.

Type t-# (where # is the number of days prior to today). For example, type t‑5 to specify the date five days prior to today’s date.

7 Do one or more of the following:

Export the data to a PDF file. To view the data in a PDF file, click Export to PDF.

Export the data to a spreadsheet. To view the data in a spreadsheet, click Export to Excel.

Note: To view the spreadsheet, you must have a supported version of the Microsoft Excel® Desktop App. (Excel Viewer and Excel for the web are not supported.)

Export the data to a CSV file. To view the data in a CSV file, click Export to CSV.

When you click Export to PDF, Export to Excel, or Export to CSV, if data are available, you are prompted to either open the report or save it. If you open the report, it appears in a separate application window. (If no data are available, a message advises you of this. Click OK.)
