System Requirements

Hardware Requirements

• A Windows^® computer that meets Microsoft^®‘s system requirements for either Windows 11 or Windows 10

• A minimum screen resolution of 1280 x 720

• Any LaserJet^®-compatible printer supported by your operating system

• One of the following label printers: Zebra^® LP 2824 Plus™, ZD410, or ZD411

• An ePadLink^® ePad^® or ePad II Signature Pad and an EPSON^® DS‑320 or DS-C330 Document Scanner (if your facility supports the Paperless PSC functionality)

• Internet service provider with high-speed access

Notes:

• Only the label printers listed above have been officially tested and are supported. End of life label printers have been removed from the list and are no longer supported.

• To retrieve patient demographic information from an identification card with a magnetic strip (such as a driver’s license), you must have a card scanner.

Software Requirements

• Microsoft Windows 11 or Windows 10

• Microsoft Edge™ (Chromium) browser, latest version, on a compatible PC or mobile device

• To enable support for patient demographics bridging and Zebra (single accession) label printing, you must have Quest Quanum Utilities (QQU) installed and the browser extension enabled.

Note: If a message appears indicating that the QQU extension was not detected, close your browser and restart eLabs. If the message persists, click report an issue for assistance.

• Any additional software that might be required for specific tasks, such as printing labels using one of the supported label printers listed above. For more information, refer to your label printer documentation.

• To access spreadsheets, you must have a supported version of the Microsoft Excel^® Desktop App. (Excel Viewer and Excel for the web are not supported.)
