Viewing or Printing the Requisition Log Summary
From the requisition log, you can view statistical data about the displayed information (excluding canceled requisitions and removed tests). The Log Summary dialog box has three tabs:
• Client Summary. For each client, this tab displays the site ID of each lab with which orders were placed, the total number of orders placed for each bill type (with a breakdown by insurance carrier), and the total number of orders for each test. If the summary includes at least one generic order, the word GEN appears in the Lab column. The clients are listed in numerical order by client number. For each client, the labs and bill types are in alphabetical order; the order codes are in numerical order.
• Physician Breakdown. For each physician, this tab displays the site ID of each lab with which orders were placed, the total number of orders placed for each bill type (with a breakdown by insurance carrier), and the total number of orders for each test. If the summary includes at least one generic order, the word GEN appears in the Lab column. The physicians are listed in alphabetical order by last name. For each physician, the labs and bill types are in alphabetical order; the order codes are in numerical order.

Note: If no physician was specified when an order was placed, then information about that order is not included. If both a physician and an NPP were specified, the data appears only under the physician’s name. If only an NPP was specified, the NPP’s name appears on this tab. |
• Diagnosis Summary. This tab displays a list of all of the diagnoses used (excluding those in canceled requisitions and removed diagnoses), along with the description of each code. The codes are listed in numerical order; diagnosis codes that begin with a letter appear in alphabetical order at the bottom of the list. Below each diagnosis is a list of all of the requisitions that used that diagnosis, including the requisition number; the site ID of the lab (or, for generic labs, the word GEN); the name of the physician who ordered the test; and the patient’s name, SSN or patient ID, sex, and date of birth.

Note: If no diagnosis was specified when an order was placed, then information about that order is not included in this summary. |
You can also print all of the information in the log summary, as well as view or reprint any of the requisitions listed on the Diagnosis Summary tab, along with their labels.
