View a Report

1 Retrieve patient test results (as described in Retrieve Patient Test Results).

2 Click for the report that you want to view.

A version of the report that is specifically designed for online viewing appears. For abnormal results, the analyte name appears in red.

Note: An administrator determines whether or not the patient’s SSN (or, if the lab is in Canada, the Social Insurance Number) appears in this report. If this number appears, it is masked except for the last four digits.

3 Do one or more of the following:

If extra information is available, an Additional Reports area appears. Click the link in that area to display the extra information in a separate window. (If no application is associated with the file type used by the extra information, you might be prompted to save the file or find the appropriate application, depending on your operating system.) If the extra information is a PDF file, you can use the appropriate procedure for your version of Adobe Reader to browse, resize, save, or print the file. For other types of files, you can perform additional tasks (such as printing the image) by right-clicking within the window and clicking the appropriate option in the pop-up menu.

To return to the list of available reports without printing the report, click Done.

To print the report, click Print. The way that the report is presented varies, depending on which system created the report, and whether or not there is extra information. Click Back to return to the list of available reports.
