Other Features

In addition to placing and managing lab orders and accessing test results, you can also perform a number of other tasks:

Change your password, email address, or mobile phone. After you have successfully logged in to eLabs, you can change your password, email address, or mobile phone at any time. For more information, see Changing Your Password, Email Address, or Mobile Phone.

Provide confirmation of informed consent. A growing number of states regulate genetic testing. If you order these types of tests, you can access a simple form to acknowledge that you are in compliance with these informed consent laws. For more information, see Providing Confirmation of Informed Consent.

Search the dictionary. You can view information about insurance carriers, diagnoses, and tests without placing an order. For more information, see Searching the Dictionary.

Look up limited coverage policies. Before placing an order, you can determine whether or not the patient’s insurance carrier might pay for a particular test. You can also see a list of all of the diagnoses that will satisfy a carrier’s limited coverage policies, and those that are not supported. For more information, see Looking Up Limited Coverage Policies.

Access clinical drug monitoring information. You can access information about drug use statistics, tests and services, and other resources related to clinical drug monitoring. For more information, see Accessing Clinical Drug Monitoring Information.

Log into IntelliTest Manager™. You can access information regarding new tests, changes to existing tests, and other important updates to the test menu for labs that support this feature. For more information, see Accessing IntelliTest Manager.

Access the laboratory information system (LIS). If an administrator enabled this feature for you, you can access the Query Tool application to search for information within a particular LIS. For more information, see Accessing the Query Tool.

Generate a utilization report. This report provides volume and billing data for all of the tests that have been ordered for one or more clients of one or more labs for both the preceding month and preceding 12 months. For more information, see Generating a Utilization Report.

Generate a Test Not Performed (TNP) report. This report provides information about tests that were not performed for one or more clients of a particular lab for a specific date range. For more information, see Generating a TNP Report.
